Welcome to BradleyRT where I will attempt to create a replica truck of an H1

What you will find on this website 

My website will be documenting my project of building a replica of a HMMWV/Hummer H1 from a 1993 Ford F150 4x4 pickup truck.  I will do my best to document everything from the donor teardown to the cage build, installation, paint and interior, and everything else that can possibly come in between.  The picture to the left was taken from the internet and is similar to what my planned finish product will be.

 

Throughout the site and build I will give absolute credit where credit is due.  I hope you enjoy my site!

The TremorMUV


The TremorMUV is the creation of one of the most versatile replicas I have seen to date.  This was the mastermind of a Thomas Christof when he decided (like many of us) that he wanted a Hummer H1 / HMMWV but couldn't afford to buy one.  With a limited number of replica kits available, and the accuracy level not close enough Thomas decided to take matters into his own hands.  He took measurements of an actual HMMWV and built his own from scratch, building it on a Chevrolet Suburban 4x4 drivetrain.  Go to Thomas' website for a ton more information, as well purchase plans to build your own Hummer.
